Peter M. Iskin
 |
Peter M. Iskin is a
1973 graduate of the University of
Pennsylvania School of Law. He is
the Director of the Housing Unit of
the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland
(LASC) and has been an LASC attorney
since 1973. He is a frequent
lecturer on landlord-tenant law at
seminars sponsored by legal services
organizations, bar associations, and
judicial conferences. He was the
Chairman of the Board of
Commissioners of the Cuyahoga
Metropolitan Housing Authority from
1981 to 1985, and a member of the
Board from 1980 to 1985. He has
litigated numerous landlord-tenant
cases concerning both private and
assisted housing tenancies. His
litigation includes Smith v.
Padgett, 32 Ohio St. 3d 344, 513
N.E.2d 737 (1987), Associated
Estates Corp. v. Bartell, 24 Ohio
App. 3d 6, 492 N.E.2d 841 (Cuyahoga
Cty. 1985), and fourteen other
appellate court decisions that are
discussed in Ohio Eviction and
Landlord-Tenant Law (3d ed.). |
